Maple & Crumb Café

Intended audience

Local residents, remote workers, and people passing by who want a cozy spot for coffee, a pastry, or a quiet place to sit. Most would visit on their phones, often while already out and about.

Design goal

Feel as warm and inviting as the café itself, while making the essentials (menu, hours, and location) quick to find on a small screen.

Look and feel: Deep navy and soft sky-blue tints with a hot pink accent, a friendly serif for headings, and large, easy-to-tap buttons.

Proposed features

• A homepage with a friendly welcome and today’s hours
• A menu page for drinks and baked goods, with dietary notes
• A visit page with the address, a map, and accessibility information
• An “Our story” page about the café
• A catering enquiry form
• Links to the café’s social media accounts
